Due to the recent Shekell fire, smoke and ash may be a concern for people near or downwind of the fire. As winds change, the smoke and ash may be present at different times of the day and at different locations. Air Quality in areas affected by smoke and ash should be considered unhealthful. If you smell smoke or see ash in the air, be cautious and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities in these areas. If you feel ill from breathing the smoke or fumes, it is best to leave the area or at least stay inside with windows and doors shut. Air conditioning systems should be set to recirculate air.
