Narcotics Detectives Arrest Suspect for Possession of 2 Pounds of Methamphetamine and Distributing to Ventura County

Narrative:

Ventura County Sheriff's Narcotics East County Street Team concluded a month long investigation with the arrest of Jose Garcia, a resident of the city of Pacoima. Garcia was identified as a methamphetamine distributor whose supply of illegal drugs was being funneled into East Ventura County.

 

On 7/30/2014, at 0845 hours, Narcotic Detectives converged on Garcia residence located on the 1000 block of Borden Avenue in Pacoima. Detectives executed a search warrant at the residence where Garcia taken into custody.

 

During the search of the residence, detectives located and seized over two pounds of methamphetamine, over an ounce of cocaine, and about $7,000 in currency.   

 

Garcia was transported to Ventura County and booked into the Main Jail for two violations of possession for sale of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in court on 8/1/2014, at 1:30 pm. His bail is set at $250,000.00
