Narcotics Detectives Arrest Suspects for Possession for Sales of Heroin

Narcotics Investigators concluded a one month narcotics investigation with the arrest for David Perez for possession of narcotics for sale.


In early August, narcotics investigators received information that David Perez was selling heroin and methamphetamine from his residence in Ventura. Through surveillance, investigators found Perez living in an apartment in 1200 block of Petit Ave.


On August 4, surveillance was set up around the residence. Perez was seen leaving the complex and was detained pursuant to the search warrant obtained by detectives. He was found to be in possession of heroin packaged for sale. The search warrant was served at Perez's apartment where 34 grams of methamphetamine and 18 grams of heroin were found.  Perez was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sale. An occupant of the apartment, Renee Lynn, was arrested for 2 felony warrants.


Both subjects were booked into the Sheriff's Main Jail.
