Unknown Hispanic Male

On Thursday, September 11, 2014, Camarillo Patrol deputies responded to the 700 block of Paseo Camarillo, in Camarillo for a possible illegal entry into an apartment.

On that date at approximately 12:30 PM the female victim was unloading groceries from her vehicle into her apartment.  A Hispanic male approached the victim and asked her for directions to an apartment in the complex.  The victim gave the subject directions and proceeded to load her groceries from her vehicle into her residence.  Once the victim was in her residence, with her two children inside, she turned around and saw the subject, who had just asked for directions, standing in her doorway.  The subject, who now was inside the apartment, appeared to be surveying the interior of her apartment when he made some very disturbing comments and proceeded to attempt to close the door behind him.  The victim, fearing for the safety of her children and herself was able to shove the subject out of her apartment and scream for help.  The subject was observed running away from the victim's residence by neighbors.

Detectives canvassed the area but were unable to locate the subject.  He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'2' tall, weighing 130 to 135 lbs. with a slender build, between the age of 22-28 years old, with a military style haircut and a bushy mustache.  The subject was wearing a white shirt, white pants and white shoes.  His arms and clothing were covered in paint and the subject stated he was in the area for a painting job.
