Thousand Oaks Police Department Investigates Traffic Collision of a Vehicle into a Business

Today, at approximately 9:00 am, a Mercury sedan was driven through the front wall of a vacant business located at 2318 Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Thousand Oaks.  The vehicle was parking in a marked parking space in front of the vacant business when for unknown reasons; it continued forward crashing into the front wall and window of the vacant business.  The vehicle came to rest approximately 3feet into the business space. 


There was moderate damage to the front of the building and the vehicle.  No one was inside the business at the time of the crash and the driver of the vehicle was not injured.


The collision is under investigation by the Thousand Oaks Police Department's Traffic Bureau.  Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call the Traffic Bureau at 805-494-8271. 


The Thousand Oaks Police Department's Traffic Bureau would like to remind citizens to be diligent while driving so to keep the roadways safe for our community.
