In a caring tradition spanning three decades, members of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office and their families will be volunteering for the Annual Share-iffs Toy Drive gift wrapping and delivering on Saturday, December 20th.  Employees and families will gather to wrap gifts at the Sheriff's Academy and then prepare delivery of the gifts by Santa Claus and his helpers Saturday evening to families who are experiencing hardships.

Sheriff's employees donate gifts, filling Share-iffs toy bins at all Sheriff's facilities beginning in late October.  The bins are later brought to the Sheriff's Academy for wrapping Saturday morning and delivered Saturday evening.  Families throughout the County are nominated by deputies who discover those that are in need of an uplifting experience during the holiday season.

Gift wrapping begins at 9:00 a.m. and delivery begins from the Camarillo Police Station, 3701 East Las Posas Rd., at about 5:00 p.m.
