Narcotic Detectives Seize Drugs from Motel Room Following Warrant Arrest

Narrative:

On 3/3/2015, Detectives with the Sheriff's Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation with the arrest of Kyle Cleveland. Cleveland had an outstanding arrest warrant for a probation violation and was taken into custody near the intersection of Devonshire Street and Reseda Blvd. in the neighborhood of Northridge. He was booked into the Ventura County Jail for the warrant.

 

After the arrest, detectives conducted probation searches at Cleveland's motel room in Granada Hills and his residence in the neighborhood of Northridge where various controlled substances were seized. Detectives seized over a pound of methamphetamine, 2-1/2 pounds of marijuana, 1-1/2 ounces of heroin, and a small amount of cocaine. Stolen property was also recovered from Cleveland's motel room.

 

On 3/11/2015, Detectives arrested Cleveland for two counts of possession for sale of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana for sale and possession of stolen property. Cleveland was still in custody for the probation violation when he was arrested for the additional charges.

 

Cleveland is scheduled to appear in court on 3/13/2015, at 1:30PM and his bail is set at $250,000.00
