On March 31, 2015, at approximately 1030 hours, two suspects, described as black male teenagers, gained entry into a residence in the 1000 block of Modesto Avenue. While inside, the suspects began searching for valuables and violently confronted two elderly residents. As a result, each victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.


The suspects fled from the residence shortly thereafter and entered an awaiting vehicle, driven by a third suspect. The vehicle was last seen driving northbound on Modesto Avenue. The suspect vehicle was described as a silver or gray colored sedan.


The public is reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious people, vehicles, or circumstances in your neighborhood. We would also remind you to secure your doors and windows.
