On April 6, 2015, at about 2:10 AM, deputies responded to a call of a subject attempting to force entry into a residence.  The subject initially pounded on the front door and ultimately forced entry into the home by breaking a window.  The suspect, James Tabor, confronted the homeowner, who was the only occupant in the residence. Tabor began acting bizarre towards the homeowner. The resident was able to flee her home uninjured and contact a neighbor who called 9-1-1.

The first responding deputy contacted Tabor inside the residence.  Tabor fled into the backyard where he was eventually taken into custody by the deputy.  Tabor was transported to Los Robles Hospital for medical treatment and evaluation.  Tabor was arrested for one-count of PC 459 / Residential Burglary and one-count of 236 PC / False Imprisonment By Violence.

Tabor was booked into the Pre-Trial Detention Facility in Ventura on $100,000.00 bail.
