Narrative:

On September 14, 2014, at approximately 6:45 AM, the victim saw a male subject standing on her property near a barn.  After yelling at the suspect, the victim opened her front door and saw another victim's burgundy 2004 Ford F350 truck driving toward and crashing into her automatic gates.  The truck continued driving past the gate, struck a cinder block wall, and left the area traveling east on Tierra Rejada Road toward Simi Valley.   Deputies responded to the scene and took a burglary, stolen vehicle, and vandalism report.  The stolen vehicle was entered into the statewide stolen vehicle database.

Approximately four hours after the crime, the Los Angeles Police Department located the stolen vehicle in the area of Mercer Street @ Lev Avenue.   A few of the items stolen from inside the barn were located inside the truck.  The stolen vehicle was released to its owner.

On May 13, 2015, the Special Enforcement Unit, Sheriff's Gang Unit, Thousand Oaks Police Directed Enforcement Unit, and the Thousand Oaks Police Investigative Bureau concluded its investigation with the service of a Search Warrant at Alfonso Gomez's residence in the 10000 block of Lev Ave. in the City of Arleta.
