Narrative:

 

On October 03, 2015, a City of Moorpark resident Kelley Pasos was arrested for negligently discharging a firearm in a residential neighborhood and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

On Saturday morning at approximately 2:30 AM, officers with the Moorpark Police Department responded to a suspicious circumstances call where gunshots were fired in the 400 block of Bard Street.  Officers arrived on scene and verified that a shooting had occurred, but the circumstances regarding the incident were not clear.  Officers determined no one was injured and an investigation was followed.

Detectives with the Moorpark Police Department and the Ventura County Sheriff's East County Major Crimes investigated the matter and determined the gunshots were fired in the air by Kelley Pasos, a convicted felon residing in the City of Moorpark.  A search warrant was served and evidence related to the crime was located and recovered.  Kelley Pasos was arrested and booked into the Ventura County Jail.  Pasos' bail was set at $50,000.00 dollars pending his arraignment in Superior Court.
