On October 12, 2015, a city of Thousand Oaks resident, Jalon Berrios, was arrested for stabbing a known acquaintance during an argument.


Officers from the Thousand Oaks Police Department responded to the Westcreek Apartments regarding a call of an assault with a deadly weapon that had just occurred.  Officers arrived on scene and contacted the victim who had injuries consistent with being stabbed.  The victim was transported to the Los Robles Hospital Emergency Room for treatment.  His injuries were not life threatening. 


The victim told responding officers that a known suspect, Jalon Berrios, had committed the stabbing.  Patrol officers later located and arrested Berrios for attempted murder.  Berrios was booked into the Ventura County Jail.  Berrios' bail was set at $500.000.00 dollars pending his arraignment in Superior Court.
