On Saturday October 17, 2015, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, the Camarillo Police Department partnered with Leisure Village Security a fifth time, to collect unused / expired prescription medication from residents of the village. 


In five hours' time, 137.35 pounds of unused / expired medication was collected. This marked the largest one day collection at Leisure Village since the Camarillo Police Department started its first prescription Rx collection in December of 2012.  


During the first four collections, a total of 424 pounds of unused / expired prescription medication was collected bringing the new overall total to 561.35 pounds.


The Camarillo Police Department would like to thank the residents of Leisure Village and Leisure Village Security for their help in making our community a safer one.
