During the early morning hours of December 23, 2014, a previously unknown suspect broke into Anderson Jewelers, assaulted the owner and stole merchandise.

David Pardo is the owner of Anderson Jewelers and was working in his store on the morning of December 23, 2014.  At approximately 1:00 AM, Pardo heard glass breaking at the front of his store.  He went to investigate and found a male suspect inside of his business, which was closed at the time.  Pardo confronted the suspect who then attacked Pardo.  Pardo fled from his store and called 911.  The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of jewelry prior to the arrival of law enforcement.  Pardo was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained in the attack and was later released.  The Sheriff's Crime Scene Investigations responded to process the crime scene and collect evidence.

The lengthy subsequent investigation led to Anthony Ramirez being identified as the suspect in this case.  On March 11, 2016, Ramirez was arrested for the Robbery and is currently being held at the Sheriff's Pre-Trial Detention Facility with his bail set at $1,000,000.
