Narrative:

 

On June 12, 2016, at 1:00 AM, Thousand Oaks Police Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault in the 1300 block of Newbury Road in Thousand Oaks. 

 

A female adult reported she met William Beliveau at a substance abuse treatment program in Thousand Oaks.  Beliveau allowed the victim to stay with him at a local hotel, where he sexually assaulted her.

 

During the course of the investigation, two additional victims were identified and allege they were also sexually assaulted by Beliveau under similar circumstances.  These crimes date back to 2011.

 

On June 25, 2016, at about 5:00 PM, detectives assigned to the East County Major Crimes Unit arrested William Beliveau for sexual assault. Beliveau was booked into custody at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility and his bail was set at $500,000.

 

Based on the investigation, detectives believe there may be additional victims who have not reported the crimes.  Anyone who has been a victim of William Beliveau or has additional information regarding this investigation is encouraged to contact Detective Jerin Widofsky at (805) 494-8224.
