Narrative:

On 11-29-13, while visiting family in the City of Camarillo, S-Gonzalez sexually assaulted a 7 year old victim while family members were also at the home. The Sheriff's Major Crimes/Sexual Assault Unit investigated the crime and discovered there were two additional victims.  These cases were investigated and on March 20, 2014, Gonzalez was arrested at his home and booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility. 

 

While Gonzalez remained in custody, detectives located two additional victims, who were no longer living in the county.  All five of the victims were minors when they were assaulted by Gonzalez.      

 

On June 16, 2016, during the jury selection process, Gonzalez changed his plea to guilty.    

 

On August 15, 2016, Gonzalez was sentenced to three consecutive 25 years to life terms for a total of 75 years to life sentence.
