On November 19th, 2016, at approximately 5:04 PM, the Camarillo Police Department Traffic Bureau responded to Dawson Drive at Mission Oaks Blvd. for a single vehicle traffic collision.


(D) Nathaniel Brown was riding his motorcycle northbound in the #1 lane of Dawson Drive approaching the Mission Oaks Blvd. intersection. It appears that Brown failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and Brown's motorcycle drove up onto the center median and collided with a street light pole. Brown was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained injuries from the collision. Brown was transported to the Los Robles Hospital Emergency Room for his injuries. On November 20th, Brown succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the traffic collision.   


The collision is still under investigation by the Camarillo Police Department Traffic Bureau. Anyone who might have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Senior Deputy Sam Dominguez of the Traffic Bureau at (805)-388-5146.
