Agoura Man Arrested for Narcotics and Weapons Violations

On 12/20/2016, Detectives with the Ventura County Sheriff's East County Narcotics Team concluded an investigation into an Agoura Hills resident, Sean Mulvey, who was involved in the sales of illegal narcotics to residents of Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
Detectives with the Ventura County Interagency Pharmaceutical Crimes Unit and Thousand Oaks Special Enforcement Units assisted with the investigation and detained Mulvey after he left his residence located on the 2300 block of Laguna Circle Drive. During a search of Mulvey's vehicle, detectives located a significant amount of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin. Mulvey was arrested and a team of detectives executed a search warrant at Mulvey's residence.
During the search of Mulvey's residence, detectives located additional amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin. They also located an amount of psilocybin mushrooms and marijuana. Total drug seizure was over one pound of methamphetamine, one pound of cocaine, and one pound of marijuana, 5 ounces of heroin, and 1-1/2 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms.
Over $2,600 in currency was deemed to be proceeds from the illegal sales of drugs and was seized. Additionally, numerous firearms were found and seized from the residence. Mulvey is a convicted felon and not allowed to possess any type of firearm. A total of 13 firearms were seized, 7 rifles (4 of which were assault type weapons) and 6 handguns. Numerous high capacity magazines were also seized as well as ammunition.
Mulvey was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for numerous narcotic and weapon violations. His bail is set at $500,000. He is currently in custody pending bail or arraignment which is scheduled for 12/22/2016, at 1:30 PM.
