On 04/06/2017, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff's West County Street Narcotics Unit assisted by the Ventura County Interagency Pharmaceutical Crimes Unit concluded a one month narcotic investigation into Oxnard resident, Jason Holmbom, who was involved in the sales of methamphetamine to residents of Ventura County.


Detectives detained Holmbom in Oxnard, before executing a signed search warrant at his residence. A search of Holmbom's person and residence by Detectives led to the seizure of approximately 3 ounces of methamphetamine, a sum of U.S. currency deemed to be proceeds of narcotic sales, and paraphernalia indicative of illegal narcotic sales. In addition, 3 loaded firearms were seized from his residence including a sawed off shotgun. Holmbom is a convicted felon and is prohibited from owning or possessing any type of firearm.


Holmbom was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail on numerous narcotic and weapon violations. His bail was set at $250,000. He is currently in custody pending bail or arraignment which is scheduled for 04/10/2017 at 1:30 PM.
