Narrative:

On Wednesday, April 26, deputies from the Thousand Oaks Police Department responded to the 100 block of Woodridge avenue for a call of a home invasion robbery.  Multiple deputies responded to the location and made contact with a male victim.  It was quickly determined the victim had been assaulted inside his home and property had been taken.  The victim was only able to provide limited information about his assailants.  The victim was treated by paramedics and transported to Los Robles ER where he was treated and released.

The investigation was then continued by detectives from the, City of Thousand Oaks Police Department, East County Major Crimes Unit, Thousand Oaks Police Special Enforcement Unit, and the Ventura County Sheriff's Gang Unit.  Information obtained through interviews and the Sheriff's Advanced Real Time Information Center (ARTIC), narrowed the search to an apartment in the area of Avenida de Los Arbloes and Westlake Boulevard.   While conducting surveillance on the probable location, investigators saw two suspects leave an apartment and get into a nearby vehicle.   Investigators stopped the vehicle and detained (S) Daniel Rubio and (S) Ricardo Rubio.   A search of the vehicle located property from the victim's home and both suspects were arrested.

As a result of evidence found inside the vehicle, a search warrant was obtained for the apartment Daniel and Ricardo had exited.  During the service of the search warrant, a third suspect, Justyn Gutierrez, was located and arrested.  A search of the apartment yielded additional evidence linking all three suspects to the home invasion robbery.

All three suspects were booked into Ventura County Jail for PC 211, Home Invasion Robbery.  Their bail was set at $250,000 dollars each.
