On 03-29-12, Cass Paley and his roommate Rudy Daniel Alvarado got into an argument on the telephone over a business deal.  When Paley arrived home, Alvarado attacked Paley who was still sitting in his vehicle, parked in the driveway.  Alvarado punched Paley while wearing 'metal knuckles' and then stabbed Paley in the left side of his abdomen.  Paley was able to drive away from the scene and meet with AMR and County Fire personnel who were staging nearby.  Alvarado then battered his girlfriend, Jeweliette Valmont, who intervened in the attack.

Paley was transported to the Los Robles Hospital where he was treated for the stab wound.

Alvarado was arrested at the scene and booked at the Main Jail for assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence and possession of metal knuckles.
