On May 14, 2017, at about 2151 hours, a robbery occurred at a convenience store in the 200-block of North Glenn Drive in the City of Camarillo. 


An unknown suspect entered the convenience store and pointed a knife at the cashier while demanding money from the cash register.  The suspect demanded and obtained the cashier's wallet.  The suspect assaulted a bystander and forcibly took the bystander's property. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot.


The bystander sustained moderate injuries during the assault and was transported to a local hospital where his injuries were treated.


Camarillo Patrol deputies and detectives from the Sheriff Major Crimes responded to the location.  Detectives obtained video surveillance of the robbery, which showed a suspect committing the crime.  The subject is described as a Hispanic male, 5'5' to 5'8' in height, about 170-190 pounds, and medium to heavy build.


Sheriff Major Crimes Detectives are requesting the public look closely at the attached surveillance photographs.
