Narrative:

National Night Out enhances the relationships between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It furthermore provides an opportunity to bring police and neighbors together. The official day to observe National Night Out is the first Tuesday of August. In order to accommodate our community, the Camarillo Police Department will observe National Night Out on Saturday, August 5, 2017. 

We are inviting the public to come join us for this special National Night Out event at Constitution Park on Aug 5th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM.  The following resources will be on display:

K-9 Officer, Motor Officer / Cycle, School Resource Officer & Vehicle, Citizen Patrol, DART, Two Command Posts, McGruff the Crime Dog as well as our McGruff motorized vehicle, and Neighborhood Watch / Nextdoor.com Information.

This is the 34th anniversary of National Night Out with over 38 million people across the country expected to participate. This is a great time to see the resources your Police Department has and at the same time enhance community spirit.   

Immediately following the National Night Out event at Constitution Park, will be the Neil Diamond Tribute concert, beginning at 7:30 PM.
