Narrative:

Camarillo Deputies arrested a 13 year-old suspect for committing residential burglaries.

On 08/29/17, at about 3:30 A.M., a resident in the 6200 block of Calle Bodega was awakened by noises that were initially coming from his garage.  When the resident got out of bed to investigate the noises, he discovered they were now coming from his back yard.  The resident realized that someone was attempting to open his rear sliding patio door so he yelled at them.  Another resident of the location called '911' and deputies were dispatched to the location.

Responding deputies searched the area and found the juvenile suspect hiding in a nearby yard.  The 13-year-old suspect was arrested without incident and was found to be in possession of property stolen from the victim's residence.

Detectives responded for the investigation and determined that this juvenile was also responsible for another residential burglary that occurred on 8-7-2017, in the 6000 block of Arabian Place, Camarillo.  During this crime, the suspect entered an occupied residence with the intent to commit a theft while the occupants slept.  One of the residents awoke and the suspect was able to flee undetected.

The juvenile suspect was lodged into Juvenile Hall.
