Narrative:

On 10-10-2017 Camarillo Detectives, with the assistance of the Santa Paula Police Department, located and arrested Rebecca Castaneda for the burglary of a Camarillo storage unit.

 

On 9-23-2017, deputies from the Camarillo Police Department responded to a report of a burglary, at a storage unit, in the 200 block of N. Aviador Street, in the City of Camarillo.  Deputies were able to retrieve surveillance video from the scene that showed (S) Rebecca Castaneda stealing property valued in excess of $950, from the victim's storage unit.

 

During the investigation, detectives learned that Castaneda was residing at a residence in the City of Santa Paula.   On 10-10-2017, Camarillo Detectives, with the assistance of the Santa Paula Police Department, located Castaneda in the City of Santa Paula.  Castaneda was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Ventura County Main Jail.  She remains jailed on $10,000 bail.
