Narrative:

 

On 11/08/17, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff's, West County Street Narcotics Team concluded a several month long narcotic investigation into the drug trafficking activities of Arlene Coronado of Camarillo.  The investigation revealed Coronado was supplying heroin to residents of Ventura County.

 

On 11/08/17, at approximately 2:45 PM, Detectives from the West County Street Team assisted by members of the California National Guard's Counter Drug Task Force, detained Coronado as she was leaving her place of employment.  A search warrant was then executed on her person, vehicle, and residence in Camarillo.  Approximately 24 ounces of heroin packaged for sale in various quantities was seized, along with a large sum of U.S. Currency believed to be the proceeds from narcotic sales.

 

Coronado was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for narcotic violations.  Her bail was set at $150,000.  She is currently in custody pending bail or arraignment which is scheduled for 11/13/17 at 1:30 PM.

 

The West County Street Narcotics Team is comprised of narcotic detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, the Oxnard Police Department, and the Port Hueneme Police Department.
