West County - Oxnard couple arrested for narcotics sales

Detectives with the Sheriff's Narcotics Bureau, West County Street Team, received information that Jose Ramirez is selling methamphetamine from a residence in the 3000 block of Nimes Lane, Oxnard. During surveillance, investigators witnessed Ramirez conduct narcotics sales. A search warrant was obtained for Ramirez and his residence. On 7/24/2012, the search warrant was served and Ramirez was detained. A search of the residence revealed approximately 8 ounces of methamphetamine, a handgun and rifle. Ramirez' girlfriend, Sandra Bautista, arrived at the residence while detectives were present and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Ramirez was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale. Bautista was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Both were booked into the Sheriff's Main Jail.
