On 07/21/2012, Deputies from the Camarillo Police Department responded to a call of a residential burglary in the 3300-block of East Barca Street.  Deputies confirmed the residence had been burglarized and property was stolen from the residence.  Several attentive citizens witnessed a male subject exiting the burglarized residence carrying several bags.  A thorough investigation was conducted and the subject exiting the residence was identified as Bryan Berndtson.

During the investigation, Camarillo Station Detectives discovered Berndtson was staying in the midtown Ventura area.  On 08/03/2012, Camarillo Special Enforcement Detectives conducted a surveillance of the area and located Berndtson in the 3200-block of East Main Street in Ventura. Berndtson was arrested without incident and booked into the Ventura County Jail for 459 PC ' Burglary.
