Narrative:
On May 28, 2011, the Camarillo Special Enforcement Detail initiated an investigation into illegal drug transactions via the Internet. An investigator posing as a female seeking male companionship accessed Craigslist.com and began interacting with 29-year-old Ashraf Boulos Hindi. In an apparent effort to further entice the adult 'female,' Hindi offered to transport cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol to a designated location in the city of Camarillo. As the communication progressed, Hindi identified himself as a schoolteacher employed by the William S. Hart School District in Santa Clarita.

Hindi eventually agreed to an encounter at the Motel 6 in Camarillo. Upon Hindi's arrival, personnel assigned to Special Enforcement Detail immediately detained him. Hindi was found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana, and further investigation revealed the previously discussed cocaine was still hidden at Hindi's residence. A small quantity of cocaine was seized later that evening during a search of Hindi's residence in Canyon Country.

After interviewing Hindi and evaluating all of the evidence in this case, Hindi was arrested for 11352(a)H&S ' Transporting / Offering a Controlled Substance, 11350(a)H&S ' Possession of a Controlled Substance, and 11360(b)H&S ' Transporting / Furnishing Marijuana.
