Narrative:

 

The Thousand Oaks Police Department is pleased to announce that Thousand Oaks Police Chief Randy Pentis will be attending the Miller Family YMCA Halloween Carnival on October 19, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The Miller Family YMCA is located at 320 Las Brisas, in Newbury Park.

 

The Thousand Oaks Police Department's Mobile Command Center will be present and Chief Pentis will be joined by officers assigned to the Thousand Oaks Police Bike Team, Thousand Oaks Police Beat Coordinator program, and the Ventura County Sheriff K9 Unit.   McGruff the Crime Dog will also make an appearance. 

 

Chief Pentis considers these events excellent opportunities to continue building on proactive partnerships with the community and working together on identifying, prioritizing and solving problems, including crime and quality of life issues.  Chief Pentis is very interested in hearing questions or concerns anyone in the community may have.
