On the evening of March 2, 2013, Camarillo patrol deputies responded to the Chevron gas station on Arneill Road in Camarillo in reference to a robbery call.  Deputies arrived and contacted an employee of the business.  The employee told deputies that a male suspect approached the front counter and demanded money.  The suspect then displayed a handgun, however no one was injured.  As a result of the robbery the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot, last seen running across the parking lot.


Patrol deputies were assisted on the call by Sheriff's Major Crimes Unit, Camarillo Police detective unit and a K-9 officer.  Anyone who may have witnessed the crime and have not yet talked with a deputy is asked to contact Camarillo Police detectives.
