On 10/10/2013, Detectives with the Ventura County Sheriff Office and Simi Valley Police Department concluded a joint narcotic investigation of a Canoga Park resident who was suspected of selling marijuana to Thousand Oaks residents, one of which was a juvenile.


Detectives detained Abdolali 'Armen' Omidfar as he arrived to work at a business located on Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Los Padres Drive in Thousand Oaks. Detectives served a search warrant on Omidfar's vehicle and located 43 grams of marijuana and evidence he was actively involved in the sales of marijuana. Omidfar's work area in the business was also searched but no evidence was found.


Omidfar was arrested and booked into the Ventura County Sheriff's East County Jail for Possession for Sales of Marijuana, Sales/Offering of Marijuana, and Contributing to the Deliquency of a Minor. Bail was set at $20,000 with a pending court appearance of 10/14/2013, at 1:30pm.
