Thousand Oaks - Three Suspects Flee the Scene of a Residential Burglary

On 10-15-13, at approximately 0837 hours, the Thousand Oaks Police Department responded to a call of a burglary in progress at a residence in Newbury Park.  The home owner returned to their residence and located a Hispanic male subject and two Hispanic female subjects exiting the residence.  The male subject ran to a blue sedan vehicle parked on the street in front of the residence and the vehicle drove away.  The female subjects ran on foot away from the residence toward a park in the area. 


Deputies arrived to the area quickly and conducted an extensive search using several K9 units and the helicopter.  None of the subjects were located.  Detectives are continuing the investigation.
