On 01-08-14, Detectives with the East County Major Crimes Unit and Thousand Oaks Special Enforcement Detail continued their investigation of an armed home invasion robbery that occurred on Thursday, 01-02-14, in Thousand Oaks CA.

Investigators developed leads identifying Rocael Osorio as the suspect in this crime.  He was arrested in Canoga Park in connection with the robbery.  Osorio is suspected of forcing his way into the elderly victim's residence, with a handgun, and stealing property.  Detectives have recovered the handgun used in this crime.  This appears to be an isolated incident that Osorio acted alone in committing.
