On Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at approximately 12:33 pm, Emanuel Fernandez was traveling southbound on Rancho Road, when he suffered a medical emergency, causing his vehicle to collide with two other vehicles on Rancho Road south of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.  Fernandez and one of the other drivers, Cailyn Steinhardt, were transported to Los Robles Hospital with minor injuries.  The third driver, Anthony Tiradeav, was not injured in the collision.  It does not appear that alcohol or drugs are a factor in the collision.  The incident is currently being investigated by the Thousand Oaks Police Department's Traffic Bureau.
