Narrative:

 

On 02/09/2014 at approximately 12:19 A.M., deputies from the Thousand Oaks Police Station responded to Southwest Liquor at 359 E. Avenida De Los Arboles after receiving reports of an assault and possible robbery.  Witnesses said they saw two male Hispanic suspects kick the victim several times in the head as the victim lay defenseless on the ground.  The victim, who was later identified as Robert Brown, Jr., was hospitalized with serious head injuries.      

 

The two suspects were identified as Frankis Rivera and Rony Rivera-Deleon. Both suspects were arrested at the scene for assaulting the victim.  The suspects were booked at the Ventura County Jail and later charged with attempted murder.
