Narrative:

Ventura County Sheriff and Simi Valley Police Narcotics Detectives concluded a joint narcotics investigation with the arrest of two Thousand Oaks residents who were selling illegal drugs to customers in East Ventura County.

On 4/3/2014, Deputies with the Thousand Oaks Police Bike Patrol assisted Narcotic Detectives by stopping and detaining Anthony and Antonio Polito (father and son) as they were traveling together near the intersection of Rancho Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard, in Thousand Oaks. Deputies located several grams of cocaine in the possession of Anthony and Antonio as well as a significant amount of currency which was deemed to be proceeds from their illegal drug sales.  Narcotic Detectives conducted a search of the Polito's Thousand Oaks residence and located an additional quantity of cocaine and currency.

As a result of this investigation, a total of over three ounces of cocaine and over $23,000.00 in currency was seized.

Antonio and Anthony were arrested and booked at the Ventura County Jail for possession for sales of a controlled substance. They are both scheduled to appear in Ventura Superior Court on 4/7/2014, at 1:30PM. Their bail is set at $50,000.00 for each one.
