The investigation revealed that Thomas Christenson was riding his bicycle westbound on the north sidewalk of La Granada Drive, without a headlight.  Myrna Stelman was driving her car eastbound on La Granada Drive preparing to turn onto Valley High Street.  As Stelman turned onto Valley High Street, Christenson rode his bicycle into the right side of Stelman's car.

Immediately upon impact, Christenson hit the rear area of Stelman's car and landed in the street.  He was transport to Los Robles Hospital by ambulance for medical treatment.
