On May 28th at approximately 8:10 p.m., a female jogger was in the area of Santa Rosa Road and Upland Road in the city of Camarillo when she was attacked.  The suspect was able to knock the victim to the ground and sexually assaulted her.  The victim was able to get away and flee to a local business to report the incident.  The victim suffered minor cuts and bruises.


The suspect was described as a White or Hispanic male in his 30's, 5'8' to 6', 180-220lbs, medium built, wearing dark colored jeans, black or blue shirt, white shoes, and had a possible burn mark on his left bicep.

Joggers/walkers are encouraged to use routes in well-lit surroundings and jog/walk with a partner.  Changing jogging/walking routes is also recommended.
