Narrative:

On July 15, 2014, the Camarillo Police Department arrested and booked Michael Greenwald of Encino, CA, for a felony count of 314.1 PC / Indecent Exposure.

On July 8, 2014, the Camarillo Police Department received a report of an indecent exposure at 'Last Call Neiman Marcus', located at the Camarillo Premium Outlets. Concerned that there may be other victims, Camarillo Detectives disseminated a flyer with the suspect's picture around the Camarillo Premium Outlets. Detectives learned that the suspect had committed similar incidents at other stores in the Camarillo Premium Outlets on July 8, 2014, that had gone unreported. A media release was completed by the Camarillo Police Department on July 10, 2014, asking the public for help in identifying the suspect.

On the night of July 11, 2014, a local television station did a live broadcast at the Camarillo Premium Outlets, asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect. Additional victims from Oxnard and Ventura who saw the broadcast came forward and reported similar incidents involving the same suspect to their respective police departments. Camarillo Detectives were notified of these additional incidents and were also contacted by a law enforcement official in Santa Monica, who also viewed the broadcast and knew the identity of the suspect.  Detectives learned from this official that the suspect had been convicted for a similar incident in Los Angeles County.

On July 15, 2014, Camarillo Detectives were contacted by the attorney for Mr. Greenwald who told detectives that his client wanted to turn himself in. Later that same day, Mr. Greenwald and his attorney came to the Camarillo Police Department, where Mr. Greenwald was taken into custody and booked into the Ventura County Main Jail, for a felony charge of 314.1 PC.  The investigation is ongoing and additional felony charges may be filed against Mr. Greenwald.
